Meanwhile, in Texas, our “no citation issued” watch continues. If there’s an accident involving a bicycle, even if the cyclist dies, you can pretty much count on no citation being issued at the scene.

Oregon Live: has the answers: “I’ve heard about the new Bicycle Commuter Tax Credit from the federal government. I understand that I can get up to $20 a month for commuting by bike. But how does it work? Does it show up on my paycheck? Where do I sign up for it?” It’s $20 a month credit, well worth the effort.
Have a bike with a front tray? If it’s made by Electra, it may be under recall. More here. Given the company’s recall history, you might want to avoid Electra itself. (I’ve never even seen an Electra bike, but will keep my eyes peeled!)
