But for Seattle the big story was locally based Evil Bikes placing three riders in the Top 10: Scot Lewis Buchanan, silver; Kiwi Brook McDonald, 7th, and Slovakian Filip Polc, 9th. Canadian Kenny Smith placed 25th while fellow countryman Steve Smith (who going in may have been Evil’s top pick) was out of the running (no immediate explanation why). Still and all, a great CWX for Evil’s crew.
