It was a cold, rainy, gloomy May in the Northwest, leaving trails actually soggier at the end of the month than at the beginning. The dry and mild winter has given way to a brutal gloom. The Fluidride Cup at Whistler the past weekend was a real mud bath, and our favorite Tiger Mountain and Grand Ridge routes are pig slop.

The weather is supposed to improve, or at least temps rise, later in the week. We’re planning to hit Grand Ridge so are keeping our fingers crossed things will have dried out a bit.
