If you&#8217;ve got an 888 fork be sure to check this out — the fork can compress without rebounding on a hard hit. That could throw you off for a nasty face plant (so far the company says only one injury reported out of eight breakages).</p>

<p>And now we get word that <a  href="http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/don-catlin-and-lance-armstrong-part-ways-20365?CPN=RSS&#038;SOURCE=BRGENNEWS">his deal with</a> the renowned anti-doping expert is off. What to think? Until we get something other than <a  href="http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/lance-armstrongs-test-results-posted-online-20366?CPN=RSS&#038;SOURCE=BRGENNEWS">canned press release copy</a>, I have to believe someone screwed the pooch here.</p>
<p>Someday we&#8217;ll find out the truth. Hope I live that long.</p>
