Velo News interview. Lance is still talking like he could win. He’s “not confident” like he was for 6 and 7, he admits. But he’s not willing to say he’ll lay down for Contador. “The road will decide.” Watch the video and compare his right shoulder (the injured one) with his left. The guy does [...]

About 265 people, who enlisted through 25 employers from King County, joined the program, which began last August.” Seattle Times: New bike racks in downtown Bellevue. World Naked Bike Ride goes off without a stitch! Yet it remains uncovered by the media! Portland had to take top honors, although curiously unlinked by Google and Bing, which put Chicago, Sydney and other cities ahead in their queues. According to BikePortland.org, some 5,000 semi-clothed and all-naked (hey, they got photos!) riders showed up. [...]

DrunkCyclist updates a Biker Down thread and legal test of 3-feet-please in Arizona. This is one to watch. See comments section as well. Key line: “He may not have meant to do what he did, but he is still responsible.” BikePortland.org riffs on USA Today piece on Google’s move to put bike paths on Streetview. [...]

Drug scandals are in the air over international cycling. Hmmm…must be about time for the 2009 Tour de France! Delete the overall classification for [...]

The Cascade Bicycle Club’s victory in the Burke-Gilman “missing link” case today represents something big for the cycling community. Cyclists are used to losing in cases like this. Used to losing in court when it comes to a motorist’s or cop’s word against theirs. Used to losing bike lanes, as on Stone Way North, in [...]
