Thanks for this perspective, it’s important for cyclists — just as they expect to be recognized as contributing to the greater good of the community at large — to recognize the needs of others beyond just their own. Cyclists worked hard with minority and disenfranchised communities to elect cycling-friendly candidates and we can’t let those ties lapse…
