This Day in Doping: Lance hires criminal defense lawyer

| |

The New York Daily News reports that Lance Armstrong has hired defense attorney Bryan D. Daly to represent him in the growing federal investigation into the Floyd Landis allegations against Armstrong. Daly had a “no comment” on the case, “except the say that we are going to work diligently to find out precisely what, if anything, this investigation has to do with Mr. Armstrong.”

Good question, but Daly can sit back and relax. It’s going to be awhile. Because until all possible evidence and testimony is gathered, there’s no real answer.
