How to Help Out the Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park

| |

Duthie Hill out by Issaquah is exploding with rides, trails and riders. Ever wonder how you can pay back a little of the joy? Here’s one: Sponsor a tile. You get to make a lasting contribution to the future of mtb and have something you can point to whenever you and the bros hit the trails out there.

Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is on the home stretch of construction of the Duthie Hill mountain bike park.  The grand opening of the park is Saturday, May 22, so mark your calendars.

Click here to sponsor an engraved tile, and help us finish the park.

Those of you who have already sponsored a tile, thank you!  Our goal is to raise $18,000 by March 15th 2010.  As of today we have raised $5100–we just need to sell 129 more tiles at the $100 level to reach our goal.

Your personally engraved tile will be placed in a new bench constructed in a highly visible location in the central clearing at Duthie Hill Park. The bench may also serve as a rideable feature and/or gathering area for years to come.

Two sizes of tiles are available:

Standard Tile Size 4″ x 8″ for $100
Large Tile Size 8″ x 8″ with border for $250

Duthie Hill is a King County park, located on the Issaquah Plateau, just 10 minutes north of I-90.  Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is designing and building the park, with $150,000 in funding from King County Community Partnership and Youth Sports Facilities Grants.  Your volunteer labor, plus the $18,000 we are raising through sponsored tiles, include the required match for these grants.
